All energy is vibration, thus music plays a big part in the journey. The elimination of thought is very difficult to achieve initially. I am sharing 5 vibrational sounds that helped me a lot in the initial pahse and still do.
There is no correct posture to meditate in the beginning.
Lie down on your back (on the ground preferable) ,
Try and follow your breadth from the nostrils to the brain to the lungs and then back.
Do this at least 20 times
